Ready before the EHO walks in
Every label Dill prints is logged: what was on it, when it printed, which site, and who was signed in at the time. When an inspector asks, you export the report. You don't ring round managers collecting paperwork. The same record works in the other direction. If a supplier issues a recall, you can see every batch that carried the affected ingredient and which sites it went to.
- ✓Labels printed per day, per site, per product
- ✓Exportable audit trail, attributed to the person who printed
- ✓Ingredient-level traceability back through your recipes

Built for operators who can't afford to get it wrong.

03Print, track and stay compliant
Print from any site on any label printer. Every label timestamped, logged, and fully traceable.
See a real Dill label
Every field populated automatically. Allergens declared. Dates calculated. Prices synced. Nothing entered by hand.
Day dots and prep labels, without the marker pen
Most kitchens still run stock rotation on handwriting and a coloured sticker. It works until someone is in a rush, the pen has dried out, or nobody can read Tuesday's label on Thursday.
Dill prints the prep date, the use-by, the day of the week and who signed it, all calculated from shelf-life rules you set once. Open a container, print a label, get on with service.

What operators say
From independent kitchens to multi-site operations across the UK.
“It has been a real success. We trialled Dill on one site for two weeks — the feedback from all the staff was great. We then deployed across the whole group. Everyone is loving it, no issues so far.”
Igor Morandi
Strategy & Operations Manager · Atis Group · 16 locations
“It's really quick and simple to add new products to the back office and send them to the app ready to print. The shelf edge labels have created a more professional look in our store. I was particularly happy that my staff can also download the app.”
Yaz Nuqul
Owner · CatDog Store
“We label approximately 200 different products which in any week could number several thousand labels — in a very limited space. Dill came up with a solution that was never going to be straightforward. I would be very happy to recommend the team.”
Toni Bartholdi
Owner · The Old Guinea
“Dill is straightforward and easy to use. We are saving time on searching for pens or markers mid-shift — even trying to identify labelling when someone's handwriting isn't readable. These small things save us a lot of time and frustration in a team as big as ours. When our labelling policy changed, the system was already set up the night before to be live in the morning.”

Not sure whether Natasha's Law applies to you?
If you make food on your premises and wrap it before a customer asks for it, that food is prepacked for direct sale, and it needs a full ingredient list with the 14 allergens emphasised. It covers more than most people expect.
- ✓Sandwiches, wraps and baguettes made in the morning
- ✓Salad pots, rice boxes and pasta pots filled before service
- ✓Bakery items packed on site, including cakes and traybakes
- ✓Anything sitting on a grab-and-go shelf or in a forecourt chiller
- ✓Meal deal components and packed-ahead breakfast items
It does not cover food you pack after the customer orders it, or food sold loose. If you are on the line, the FSA's own guidance sets out the test.

Built in from day one.
When Natasha's Law changed everything for UK food businesses, Dill was ready. We helped Co‑Op, BrewDog and L'éclair Patisserie achieve full PPDS compliance — and we keep them ahead of every change the FSA makes next.

The 14 allergens, emphasised automatically
UK law requires all fourteen to be emphasised within the ingredient list, normally in bold. Dill does that from your recipe data, so it happens the same way on every label, at every site, whoever is on shift.
- Celery
- Cereals containing gluten
- Crustaceans
- Eggs
- Fish
- Lupin
- Milk
- Molluscs
- Mustard
- Peanuts
- Sesame
- Soya
- Sulphur dioxide and sulphites
- Tree nuts
Natasha's Law came into force on 1 October 2021 as the Food Information (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2019, with equivalent regulations in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
