On Dill food labelling solutions

Welcome to Dill! We’re excited to help you streamline your food labelling process. Follow these simple steps to get started with our solution.

1. Sign the Contract with Dill

To begin using Dill’s food labelling solution, you’ll first need to sign a contract with us. This formalises our partnership and ensures you have access to all our services and support.

2. Wait for Your Order to Arrive

Once the contract is signed, we will process your order and ship the necessary equipment to you. Delivery times may vary, but we aim to get your order to you as quickly as possible – usually within 5 working days.

3. Access the Instruction Documents

After receiving your order, you will receive the credentials to log into the system from Dill. Use these credentials to log into the admin portal. Here, you will find detailed instruction documents that will guide you through the setup process. These documents are designed to make your onboarding as smooth as possible.

Note: The instructions are downloadable and can be easily shared with your staff for seamless setup and operation.

4. Create Categories and Products

Within the admin portal, you can start organising your labels. Create categories and add the products you need, whether for Food Safety or Prepacked for Direct Sale (PPDS). This step is crucial for ensuring your labels meet regulatory requirements and are easy to manage.

5. Distribute Labels to Locations

Once your categories and products are set up, use the Distribute locations feature to share the labels with your various sites. This ensures that all locations have access to the correct labels and information.

6. Set Up Your Printer

Plug your printer into a power socket and connect it to your mobile device via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. Detailed instructions for connecting your printer can be found in the admin portal’s designated instructions section.

7. Test Printing

Before you start using the system regularly, perform a test print to ensure everything is set up correctly. This quick check will give you confidence that everything is ready to go.

For connecting your printer, choose the option that best fits your setup:

  • Bluetooth: Ideal for short-range, direct connections without relying on Wi-Fi.
  • Wi-Fi: Perfect for longer-range connections and if you need to connect multiple devices.

Choose the option that best suits your needs and follow the simple instructions in the admin portal.

With everything set up, you can now enjoy the benefits of automated food labelling. Our solution will save you time and help ensure your labels are always accurate and compliant with regulations.
